Pet Wellness Examinations

We offer annual wellness, new pet, and proactive senior wellness examinations. Same-day sick appointments are available on most days that we are open. Our caring staff will strive to make your pet’s experience as stress-free as possible!

Pet Soft Tissue Surgery

Surgeries offered at LouVet include the following: spay, neuter, mass removals, nares/soft palate, gastropexy, entropion, vulvaplasty, aural hematoma, abdominal exploratory, C-section, and enucleation. Before, during, and after the process, we work to make your pet’s experience as safe and comfortable as possible. Our anesthesia and analgesia techniques minimize pain and maximize safety.

Pet dental cleanings and extractions

One of the best ways to keep your pet healthier for longer is to maintain oral health. During examinations, we can identify dental issues before they become a more serious condition. Our state-of-the-art dental machine will clean and polish your pet’s teeth, and we can perform most extractions in-house.

Pet radiology

A radiograph, commonly known as an x-ray, can provide information about your pet’s bones, as well as internal organs. LouVet has digital radiography to give you the best diagnostic capability possible.

Pet ultrasound

We offer in-house ultrasound, which can be an invaluable tool in diagnosing medical conditions. With ultrasound, we can see details of internal organs that radiographs do not show.

Pet in-house bloodwork

If your pet is sick, you want answers now. We have in-house bloodwork machines that can give information about your pet’s internal organ function in minutes.

Pet vaccinations

Vaccinations and parasite control are two of the best ways to avoid preventable diseases. With some diseases being zoonotic (transmitted from pets to people), preventative pet care keeps humans healthy too. Let us evaluate your pet and determine the best preventative plan!

Pet microchipping

Without ID, 90% of lost pets don’t come home. With a tiny microchip, your pet will have a unique ID code that can be used to retrieve your contact information so that you can be reunited with your pet.
